I spent my teenage years here in Quesnel graduating from QSS in 1985 and enjoyed playing hockey on the Midget Mack Hockey team and making life long friends. I moved away from our family hobby farm in Marguerite to attend UBC and returned to Williams Lake where I started my journey in the auto industry taking my first job as a service advisor at Norberg Motors in 1989. I worked my way up to sales consultant, then commercial truck manager, to assistant sales manager and finally General Sales Manager. During the year 1999 I was offered an opportunity to move back to Quesnel and become a partner in the ownership of then JB Motorcade which was changed to Fraser River GM. It has been a wonderful 22 years managing the store, being involved in many community events and volunteering during that time. Quesnel is a special place that I am very proud of. My wife Nicole and I have cherished the quality of life that it offers to raise our 5 children who whenever they have a chance come to take in all that we enjoy. I have to sincerely thank our current and past staff members who have assisted in creating a wonderful atmosphere and a reputation of good customer service. It most likely goes without saying in the retail sector that nothing is more important than your customers and for me and our family the loyalty and relationships we shared over the years has made Fraser River GM a special place to come to work at everyday. I moved here from Northern Alberta and as much as I respected the work, I have found my new home here in Quesnel, so beautiful in comparison. I moved to Quesnel from Kelowna in 1995 not having a clue where on the map I was going, but following along with life. I was excited to see what this little city had to offer, and what was supposed to be a 3 year plan has turned out to be my hometown. I love the community and have loved raising my kids here.
